Mooney Dog

Perhaps no other Dog symbolized the early 70’s Rabid Dog Movement like Wild Man Mooney Dog. Beloved for his too short jeans and tennis shoes, his animated field behavior, his “War Admiral” style of base running, Mooney Dog is the only Dog that Good Shepherd Church athlete Rob Healy admitted to ever being afraid of. Opponents never knew what the Mooney Dog might do. Nor did the the Dogs. He was truly the only Fonty Dog deserving of the tee shirt that read “Beware of the Dog.”
